Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 4–10 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (330) 808-7670. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, lucianos.xyz.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 587 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian restaurant in Akron and suggests consistent service.

Akron is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. We did the Chef’s Table at Luciano’s, and it was such a fun experience! The food was absolutely incredible, and we loved hearing from the chef, Aaron, throughout the meal and learning about each course. It made the whole evening feel really special. A huge shoutout to our server, Cheyenne. She was amazingβ€”so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made our night even better. We’re already talking about coming back and will definitely be recommending the Chef’s Table to our friends and family. If you’re looking for a unique date night or special occasion, this is 100% worth it!

We made reservations at their earliest time to allow for a more quiet dining experience. It was my husbands 25th birthday so we wanted something special and a little more high end, from the beginning it was sort of here or there in experience. The hostess seemed annoyed she needed to get off her phone to seat us, we had reserved but she didn't ask so im assuming it really wasnt all that necessary to reserve a spot. We were seated close to the kitchen and the view from the windows was incredible. The champagne offered was delicious, light and not too dry but definitely on the stronger side for a pre dinner drink. Our waitress was lovely, soft spoken and attentive, she really added to the dining atmosphere and overall experience. I ordered the lavender scape and a side of simple syrup however the cocktail was so well balanced and delicious I didn't even need my usual syrup. Not to mention the presentation of the cocktail was gorgeous, beautiful gradient with smoking rosemary. Perfect. We started our meal with the meatball, which was also incredible. The flavor was well present and the ricotta was smooth and quite like nothing ive ever had. The bread served was also delicious, a perfe

Very clean, very nice. Employees are very nice. Food was good, but the lobster ravioli isn't worth $40. I had the duck pockets (I can't remember the type of pasta, but its like a ravioli), that was really good. They had a nice pour. The menu online has more choices than the menu in the restaurant. Oysters Rockefeller was ok, I've had better, but they were good. Calamari was good, same thing, I've had better but it was good. I've been back again. The service was still very nice, very kind. The calamari was better the second time around. A friend of mine has a flatbread, and it looked really good. Give them a go.

Last night my husband and I decided to try Luciano’s. When we walked in we were greeted and asked if we wanted to try some complementary champagne. We declined because we are not drinkers but that was a great way to introduce your restaurant. Once seated our waiter greeted us and we ordered drinks. He came back and told us about the specials. He was very detailed with his descriptions of the food. We already knew what we wanted but it was nice to know the options. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the table side cheese wheel. He had a cheese wheel experience while we were in Florida on a vacation and wanted to try it again. My Alfredo was delicious, lots of sauce and was hot! The waiter brought out the cheese wheel with my husbands cooked linguine pasta to the table. He started melting the cheese in the wheel, then put the pasta in and tossed it in the cheese! Just to clarify, the pasta is cooking on a separate pan then added to the cheese wheel to be covered in cheese. The meal was hot and delicious. The wheel does not cook the pasta! We then ordered desserts. I ordered the cannoli dip, my husband the affogato. Both were very good. We definitely will

Luciano’s is such a welcome addition to the area for upscale dining. We’ve been three times now and have never been disappointed. The pasta is phenomenal and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into each dish. We recently had the catch of the day paired with pasta. The fish was cooked to protection, and fell apart like butter. The servers and staff are the definition of polite and courteous, and make sure you feel welcome. It’s an especially nice spot for an anniversary or celebratory dinner.
